There are two ways to log Workouts in MySwimPro with a Garmin Watch. You can be guided through Workouts directly in Garmin Connect (Garmin Connect Compatible) or just track your Swims using the Garmin Sync feature! These are all available on iOS & Android.
iOS
Setting Up Garmin Sync
Garmin Sync is the best way to automatically log Garmin Workouts to MySwimPro. After setting it up, all Workouts logged with your Garmin watch will appear in MySwimPro!
To set up Garmin Sync:
Make sure you have bluetooth enabled on your phone and the Garmin watch
In the MySwimPro app, go to Settings > Account Settings
Toggle Garmin Sync
A web page will appear and prompt you to authorize MySwimPro to read your Garmin workout information. Sign in to your Garmin account and tap Allow.
Reopen the MySwimPro app if not automatically directed. The next time you swim with your Garmin device and sync with Garmin Connect, your Swims should log to the MySwimPro app. You'll be able to see your Garmin swims in the MySwimPro feed.

Navigating A Workout
Start:
Once the workout is loaded to your watch, tap the timer button to begin the workout.
Capture Splits:
To record your split times, tap the lap button at the end of every rep. Once the lap button is tapped, the workout will advance to the rest period of the interval.
For Example:
2x100 Free @ 1:30
Lets say you touch the wall at the end of the first 100 on 1:02 then tap the lap button. Your split of 1:02 has been recorded and the workout will now move you to the rest period of the interval. In this example, you will now see :28 seconds on your watch. When the rest is complete, the next rep will begin automatically.
Advance Early:
If you'd like to advance early, all you need to do is tap the lap button.
However you want to go now. Just tap the lap button and the rest will be skipped and you will now be on the 2nd 100.
Pause/Resume:
To pause the workout, just tap the timer button (Generally the top right button). To resume, just tap it again.
Distance Alerts:
For pool swimming, distance alerts are intended to notify the user when they are on the last length of the target distance. This "bell lap" type of design enables swimmers to modulate their effort and to plan to stop at the wall, rather than starting a turn. The exact timing of the alert depends on the swimmer's pace, stroke rate, and the size of the pool. Typically the alert will activate when the swimmer is approximately one-third or halfway into the last length. Learn More
