All the World Swim Day workouts are great and each designed for different skill levels. You can log them in your iPhone or Android app in addition to any of the compatible smartwatch devices including the Apple Watch and Garmin.
World Swim Day Workouts
Swim Workouts:
- Get Wet: 100-200 meters
- Make a Splash: 1,000 meters
- 2020 in 2020: 2,020 meters
- The Pandemic 5k: 5,000 meters
- The Pandemic 10k: 10,000 meters
Dryland Workouts:
- The Torcher 🔥 : 20 minutes
- Swimmer Strength 🏊♂️ : 40 minutes
- World Swim Day Challenge 🌎 : 60 minutes
After World Swim Day weekend, the app will return to the free version, unless you sign up for a 30-day free trial subscription. If you’re not a subscriber, you will still be able to write and log an unlimited number of workouts to the app for free forever. Your Guide to MySwimPro ELITE COACH

How To Find Your World Swim Day Workout
- Register here for World Swim Day. You will receive your workout details in your email inbox before October 23.
- Download the MySwimPro app on iPhone or Android
- During the weekend of World Swim Day (October 23, 24, 25) open the app to access your free workouts!
- Head to the Swim or Dryland Tab
- Choose one of the World Swim Day Workouts
How To Log Your World Swim Day Workout
How To Log a Swim Workout Without a Smart Watch:
- Select a workout -You can find the workouts at the top of the Swim Tab.
- View the details – see the distance, duration, calories burned, and swim sets that you’ll be completing.
- Watch the drill videos – some workouts have helpful videos to show you how to complete the drills. Be sure to watch these before you begin your workout!
- Customize the workout – tap ‘Edit’ to make changes:
- Adjust your pool length
- Adjust interval times so they’re accurate to your speed and ability
- Add, edit or remove any warm up, pre-set, main set or cool downs
- Take your workout to the pool – you can either print it out, bring your phone to the pool, or complete the workout from memory:
- Print the workout: Tap the share icon > tap ‘Open PDF’ > either take a screenshot or tap the share icon again to print the PDF version of the workout. If you can’t print straight from your phone, you can always email the workout PDF to yourself, then open the PDF on a different device that you can print from.
- Bring your phone to the pool: We recommend buying a waterproof smartphone case, or placing your phone in a plastic bag so you can keep your phone close to the edge of the pool without it getting wet. In between swim sets, you’ll want to be able to check your phone to be guided through the workout.
- Complete it by memory: If you can remember the different swim sets, training zones and interval times off the top of your head, then great!
- Log your workout – After you’ve completed your workout, log it in your MySwimPro app to see your stats and track your progress!
- Open the workout in your MySwimPro app > tap ‘Log Activity’
- Add a photo, edit the details, and add a note to remember how your workout went
- Tap the share icon to share your progress on social media, just add #MySwimPro!
- Tap ‘Save’ to log the workout and share in your MySwimPro feed
- Log your workout – After you’ve completed your workout, log it in your MySwimPro app to see your stats and track your progress!
- View your workout - Head to the "Profile" Tab. Here you can view all your logged workouts all in one place!
- Share your workout! -Share a photo or video on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or Strava – add the hashtag #WorldSwimDay to enter to win prizes! (Profile must be set to public)
How To Log a Dryland Workout Without a Smart Watch:
- Select a workout -You can find the workouts at the top of the Dryland Tab
- View the details – see the duration, calories burned, and exercises that you’ll be completing.
- Watch the drill videos –Each Exercise has a video to show you how to properly do the set. Be sure to watch these before you begin your workout!
- Customize the workout – tap ‘Edit’ to make changes:
- Adjust and exercises
- Adjust interval times so they’re accurate to your speed and ability
- Add, edit or remove any warm up, pre-set, main set or cool downs
- Start Workout– you can follow the workout directly on your phone!
- Tap Start Workout to begin
- Log your workout – After you’ve completed your workout, log it in your MySwimPro app to see your stats and track your progress!
- Tap ‘Log Activity’
- Add a photo, edit the details, and add a note to remember how your workout went
- Tap the share icon to share your progress on social media, just add #MySwimPro!
- Tap ‘Save’ to log the workout and share in your MySwimPro feed

How To Log a Swim Workout With a Compatible Smart Watch: Compatible Smartwatches for the MySwimPro App
- Select a workout -You can find the workouts at the top of the Swim Tab ( for pool workouts) or the Dryland Tab ( for land workouts). Dryland workouts are currently only compatible with Apple Watches
- View the details – see the distance, duration, calories burned, and swim sets that you’ll be completing.
- Watch the drill videos – some workouts have helpful videos to show you how to complete the drills. Be sure to watch these before you begin your workout!
- Customize the workout – tap ‘Edit’ to make changes:
- Adjust your pool length
- Adjust interval times so they’re accurate to your speed and ability
- Add, edit or remove any warm up, pre-set, main set or cool downs
- Load Workout- Now is the time to load the workout to your device and swim! To load it to your device, just open the Load Workout screen on your watch while the workout is open on your phone. When you finish the workout on your watch, it will automatically log! Once the workout is loaded to your watch, you can safely lock away your phone.

Loading a Workout onto your Garmin Device - View your workout - Head to the "Profile" Tab. Here you can view all your logged workouts all in one place!
