How To Share Your Swim On Social Media

Turn any logged swim into a custom graphic and share it to Instagram, Facebook, or anywhere else.

Written by Kyle Ivey

MySwimPro turns any logged swim into a custom graphic you can post to social media, send to a friend, or save to your camera roll.

How To Share a Swim

  1. Tap Profile and open the swim you'd like to share.

  2. Tap the share icon in the top right corner, underneath the three-dot ellipsis. The Preview Share screen opens.

  3. Swipe left and right to move through the available designs.

  4. Add a background image if you'd like (see below).

  5. Pick where it goes — tap Instagram or Facebook to post directly, or use Copy to Clipboard, Save, Copy Link, or More.

Choosing a Design

Each design pulls different numbers from your swim, so pick whichever tells the story you want:

  • Your distance, duration and pace.

  • A fuller breakdown adding calories, average and max heart rate, SWOLF, pool length and your perceived effort level.

  • A heart rate graph across the workout, with your average and max.

  • The floating card — our original share design, which spins around to show the workout you swam.

The dots beneath the preview show which design you're on.

Backgrounds

Tap Choose Image underneath the preview to add a photo from your library as a backdrop behind the metrics.

Leave it set to Transparent and the card drops cleanly onto whatever background you're already using — handy for an Instagram Story.

Where You Can Send It

  • Instagram and Facebook — post straight to the app.

  • Save — download the image to your photo library to post whenever you like.

  • Copy to Clipboard — paste the image straight into a message or another app.

  • Copy Link — grab a link to the swim instead of an image.

  • More — open your phone's full share sheet for any other app.
