How To Log Custom Workouts on MySwimPro

If you don’t feel like doing one of MySwimPro's Workouts, that’s fine! You can always log your own custom swim or dryland Workouts. The more you log into the app, the more it acts as your go-to hub to track your progress, see your stats, and to share your Workouts with friends.

How To Create Custom Workouts

There are three types of Custom Workouts you can create with MySwimPro.

Create Swim Workout

To create a Custom Swim Workout:

  1. Open the Coach Tab

  2. Tap Custom Workout

  3. Tap Create Swim Workout

  4. Start by adding a Set to the first Set Group by tapping the menu icon on the upper right of the Set Group

  5. Choose the Stroke, Effort Level, Reps, Distance, Interval (You can use a Custom Interval, Personalized, or No Interval), Equipment and then add any notes

  6. Tap Done

  7. Repeat Steps 4-6 until the Set Group is complete

  8. Tap the menu icon on the upper right of the Set Group and then tap Add Set Group.

  9. Add and name a Set Group

  10. Repeat Steps 4-6 until the Set Group is complete

  11. Once the workout is complete you can sync it to your smartwatch, print a PDF or save the workout for later

Create Dryland Workout

To create a Custom Dryland Workout:

  1. Open the Coach Tab

  2. Tap Custom Workout

  3. Tap Create Dryland Workout

  4. Tap + New Set Group

  5. Tap + New Set

  6. Choose the Exercise

  7. Add an Interval + any notes

  8. Tap Save

  9. Repeat steps 4-8 until the set group is complete

  10. Once the workout is complete tap Save To Library or Start Workout

Quick Log

To quickly log your Swim Workout using Quick Log:

  1. Open the Coach Tab

  2. Tap Custom Workout

  3. Tap Quick Log

  4. Enter in the Distance of the Workout

  5. Change the unit from Meters or Yards

  6. Add the duration

  7. Change the date (today's date is pre-filled)

  8. Mark whether the swim was open water

  9. Tap Log Activity

  10. The logged workout will appear in your Feed and update your Profile stats. It will also save to any linked services, like Apple Health or Strava
