Your Swim Passport is a map of everywhere you've swum. As you log swims around your city — or around the world — they're added to the map, building a record of your swimming over time.
Opening Your Swim Passport
Tap the Profile tab, then tap Swim Passport. A map appears showing all of the locations you've swum.
If your map looks emptier than you expected, the questions below explain why certain swims don't appear.
Getting Around the Map
There are two ways to move around your passport:
Tap a country to zoom to the city where most of your swims there were recorded.
Scroll the list of locations below the map and tap any one to travel straight to it.
Sharing Your Passport
Tap the share icon in the top right corner to pull up a share card highlighting your headline numbers: total swims, distance, locations, countries and continents.
Post it wherever you like and tag @MySwimPro so we can see how far you've gone.
Find a Pool
Near the bottom of your Swim Passport you'll find Find a Pool. Tap it to open a map and list of pools in your area, so you can track down somewhere to swim — at home or while travelling.
Some entries are marked private. Those are visible only to you — a residential pool you swim in, for example, is never shown to other MySwimPro members.
Frequently Asked Questions
My swim locations aren't appearing in the Swim Passport - why?
The Swim Passport only includes workouts started on a wearable device with location permissions granted in order to validate that a workout was completed at the location.
Why aren't my swims imported from Apple Health with locations included appearing in my Swim Passport?
Unfortunately Apple makes start location for pool swims from the Workout app unavailable for third-party developers, so the MySwimPro app is unable to use this information for your Swim Passport.
Why don't my old swims appear in the swim passport?
Location permissions must be granted at the time of the swim in order to be included in your Swim Passport. It's probable that location permissions were not enabled for your older swims.
Are my swim locations visible to other swimmers?
MySwimPro uses anonymized location data to populate our Pool Finder feature. A pool or swim spot only appears on the map once several different swimmers have logged swims there. A place only you have swum at is never added. To opt out of this, you can enable the "Keep Activity Private" setting in the MySwimPro app.
